Eastern Queen, at Nassau, W.I. from which port said sch. as now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, sex and occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belong, also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the name and ages of those who died. So help me God (signed) James Wait
Sworn to, this 25 April 1873

D. Wait and the signed sworn statement as James D. Wait than it is below the List and Manifest statement which appears to be J. A. D. Meek. The W in Wait appears to be the same as the W in Wm for last two passengers but those Wms could be Mr. The M in the passenger Martin looks like the M in Meek but not the W in Wait at the top. Some possibilities of the captain's name are WAIT, WAIK, WACK, and MEEK.
