DISTRICT OF NEW YORK - PORT OF NEW YORK
I, G Ernst Master of N G S S Donau do solemly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board said Steamship at Bremen from which said steamship has now arrived; and that in said list is truly designated age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belonged, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant, and the name and the age of those passengers who died. So help me God G W Ernst

Columns represent: Passenger number, Name (forename, surname) Age (in) Years-Months, Sex, Occupation, The country to which they severally belong, The country they plan to become inhabitants, Died on this voyage (used only if they did - the number probably represents the number of days since departure), Part of the vessel occupied by said passenger on the voyage.
