Transcriber's Notes:
All passengers, except for 2, are from Germany. Therefore this coloumn was eliminated,
the 2 passengers where noted in the Passenger notes.
Betweendeck passengers where numbered consecutively by the recorder, then 1st and 2nd Cabin
passengers started at 1 again. The transcriber numbered all passengers consecutively for
ease of referencing.
Most of the last names that had nn, where spelled with one n and a line above the n to show
that there should be a second n. The transcriber spelled those names with two n.
* An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the
original recorder, not the transcriber, or is used
to call your attention to additional information in
the transcriber's notes.
? Indicates a letter or number which could not be determined
due to the condition of the manifest or handwriting of the original recorder.
^ A ^ followed by a letter indicates that the letter was superscripted.
* Names were transcribed as seen regardless of spelling.
"Ein Kind geboren" means a child was born. Unfortunately the recorder did not indicate who
the parents of this child where.
Cajute is spelled with u Umlaut.
