Ship Copernicus
I, A. H. Arensfeld, Master of the Ship Copernicus of Bremen, do solemnly swear that the Annexed List contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account or report of all the Passengers who have been taken on board the said Ship at Bremen or any other foreign port or at sea and brought in said vessel into any district of the United States since her departure from the port of Bremen. The surname of the passengers No.72 - No.88 is FREYER and the village they came from is
Rohrbach in the state of Hessen (Hesse).
Passenger No. 72 Heinrich Freyer was a blacksmith.
One family FREYER with 8 persons and the other family with 9 persons.
Passengers No.89 - No.93, the HOLZHAUS family came also from the village of
Rohrbach not Bohrbach like the MUSCH family (No. 139 - 144, 146 - 147)
Passenger No.124 Heinemann Hess came from Düdelsheim = Duedelsheim!
The villages Rohrbach and Düdelsheim are near Büdingen.
One of my ancestors emigrated 1847 to the US. He settled down in Baltimore
and died there in 1910. Descendants of him are still living.
