I, Master of the ...... do solemnly, sincerely and truly ...... that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of the City of New York is a full and perfect list of all passengers taken on board of the said St? at .... from which port said .... has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, the calling of each of said passengers, the location of the compartment or space occupied by each during the passage, the country or citizenship of each, and also the destination or location intended by each; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, as required by the Passenger Act of 1882; and the dates and the names and the ages of those .....; also of the pieces of baggage of each; also a true statement, as far as can be ascertained, with reference to the intention of each alien passenger as to a protracted sojourn in this country. If you find an ancestor on a ship on ISTG and would like to link to your email address or home page, please submit a short paragraph about the passenger, where settled, children, etc., with the name of the ship and date of arrival, and send to the transcriber at the bottom of the manifest or to the ISTG Production Coordinator.
