DISTRICT OF NEW YORK - PORT OF NEW YORK
I, J Stone, Master of the RMSS Arabia do solemnly, sincerely and truly Swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by Me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York,is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said Steamer at Liverpool from which port said Steamer has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.

Columns represent: Name, Age, Sex, Occupation, The country to which they severally belong, The country to which they intend to become inhabitants, Died on the Voyage, and Part of the vessel occupied by each passenger during the voyage. No deaths were recorded on this voyage and this column has been omitted.

All ditto marks on the original manifest have been replaced with the actual words indicated.

The manifest did not include psgr #s; they have been added by the transcriber.

The manifest scribe entered "Cab" as Space Occupied for only psgr #1.


 8  Title is probably "Miss".
10  4th and 5th letters of surname not clear, because of lower extension of the letter 'y'
    in the surname above, could be Soldiac or Soleliac.
23  1st letter of surname not clear, could be Harts.
29-30  First name not clear, could be M^r. or the initial "M".
32  5th letter of surname not clear, could be Kertask or Kertosk.
34  First name could be a miswritten Bernard.
40  3rd and 4th letters of surname not clear, could be Steen, Stein, or Stien.
42  First letter of first name not clear, could be Zelly.
46  4th letter of surname not clear, could be Searon or Season.
52  Beginning of Occupation not clear.
