I, Th Carstens master of the Ship America of Bremen do hereby solemnly sincerely & truly swear that the annexed List subscribed with my name contains to the best of my knowledge and belief a just and true account of all Passengers who were taken on board the said Ship at Bremen or any Foreign Port or at sea and brought in said vessel into any District of the United States since her departure from the said Port of Bremen. Th Carstens Sworn to the 17TH day of August 1840 Before me W Allen
