Antwerp, Belgium to New York, New York
14 February 1878

I, H E Nickels, do solemnly, sincerely and truly avow that the Report or Manifest subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the District of New York contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the passengers which were on board the S.S. Vaderland at the time of her sailing from the port of Antwerp or which have been taken on board at any time since; that I am at present, and have been during the voyage, master of said vessel. And I do likewise swear that all matters whatsoever in the said Report or Manifest are, to the best of my knowledge and belief, just and true

Report or Manifest of all the passengers taken on board the S.S. Vaderland whereof H. E. Nickels is Master, from Antwerp burthen two thousand & seven Tons and owned by International  Navigation Co of Antwerp, Belgium and bound to New York.
