I, C. J. Rolufs do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest of Passengers subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of NewYork, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Hamburg Ship Stephani whereof I am Master, from Hamburgh.

Personal Note: Passengers #64,65,66, the Kroning family, are ancestors of the Transcriber's wife, Ruth Haseley Grose. Christoph and Friedrike Kroning are her greatgreatgrandparents. They proceeded from New York City to Niagara County, New York where they joined their sons August and William Kroning who had arrived in 1843 aboard the Sir Isaac Newton (transcribed in Volume 4).
