On her maiden voyage she departed Gravesend, England 29 Sept 1876 & arrived at Cleveland Bay, Townsville (Queensland) at dusk 22 Sept 1877. This voyage, 2 November 1882, brought my wife's relative Peter Chapman (passenger #81) who later married (in Mackay, Queensland) a woman named Annette Edith Bruce Collins. Passenger #121 is William Doig, but I do not know how he fits into my side of the family.Paul Doig Correspondence added June 18, 2006, POLAND The barque 'Scottish Prince' sailed from Glasgow on 15 July 1882 and arrived in Mackay on 2 November 1882. Mathew, Susan and Eliza Poland, passenger numbers 241, 242 and 243, were my relatives. Mathew and Susan were my Great Great Grandparents. After moving to Newcastle NSW and having 2 more daughters, Margaret(1885) and Annie(1887), they moved to Outtrim Vic where Annie died(1899) and my Grandfather James was born(1900). They eventually moved on to Wollongong NSW, where many of the family still live. My Father James Edward was born there (Mt Kembla) on 28 december 1935 and died in Gosford on 13 April 2002. Jim Poland
