DISTRICT OF NEW YORK - PORT OF NEW YORK
I, Geo Morse, Master of the Ship Rhine, do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New-York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said Ship at (faded too badly to read at all)* from which port said Schn has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.
So help me God,
Signed G Morse

Transcriber's Notes:

* The use of an asterisk(*) indicates an omission or error made by the
original recorder, or the writing was too faded to read.

? The use of the question mark(?) indicates the film was too light smudged or
too dark or for some other reason a whole name or a few letters of a name
   are unreadable.

^ The use of the carot(^) indicates the subsequent letter was raised.

The first line reads passenger was going to USA and was a cabin passenger.
The rest of the list is unreadable.
The destination listed on the header for the passengers lists the ship as
coming from London.
For those of you who think they may have passengers aboard, I am sorry about
the missing areas of information. I am trying to transcribe all the ships
lists that are available on this particular film. If this could be ordered
from the Federal Archives you may get a better copy than the one I have. The
numbers for ordering are listed at the end of this transcription.
