Transcriber's Notes:

Original manifest did not include passenger numbers. These numbers
were added by the formatter.

? A question mark indicates illegible letters or words.

Although ditto marks were used on the Columns Occupation and Home for
Passengers 1 - 17, some of these passengers are children.

Correspondence added 10-20-2006, passengers 47-49, Kaufhold and Hammarle
My name is Jane Hodgson and if possible I would like to link my
e mail address, jane@hodgsoncorp.com, to three of the passengers
on board the Ship Redwood which arrived into New York from Le Havre
on 17 May 1854.

Georg Kaufhold, Elisab Kaufhold and Wilh Hammarle are the names of
the passengers. William Hammerle is the brother of my great grandfather
Heinrich Hammerle. William married Elizabeth Kanfold on 14 Nov 1854 and
resided in Dearborn Co, Indiana. I would be happy to share more information
with anyone that is interested.
