Transcriber's Notes:

This passenger list is all totally handwritten, no preprinted forms. The only columns that are
labeled are 'Cabin', 'Steerage', 'Rate', and 'Amount'. In the paragraph following the master's
statement, the word 'f?nding' could be either 'fending' or 'finding'. The word 'limit?ry' is
either 'limitary' or 'limitory'. The word following 'luggage' could be 'do' or 'to', and also
looks similar to the '&' sign used in the list of passengers.

'Babi' is clearly written as shown.

1 No age given. This is the only passenger traveling in the cabin.
20-21 The first name could be Manrace or Manrice. I cannot see a dot, but the letter is very
slender like an 'i', and looks like other 'i's in the list.
36-37 There is a period following the 'r' in 'Mar'.

The last name of first signature at the end of the passenger list looks like Stewert or Stewart.

According to the National Research Council of Canada's iceberg database, on April 14th, 1849,
the Brig Ospray, traveling from St. John's, Newfoundland to Baltimore, passed several fields
of ice at 40 degrees 23 minutes North and 62 degrees 23 minutes West, and was forced to take
a southern passage. On the outward passage on the Banks of Newfoundland, it was completely
blocked in the ice (8 to 16 feet thick) for four days. This database is located at:
