Transcriber's Notes:

A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be
   transcribed definitely.

An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting
of the manifest or something in the Transcriber Notes to which the reader
   should refer.

The transcriber numbered the passengers consecutively even though they are
   not numbered in the manifest.

1 Surname is possibly "Fuinez", "Finnez" or "Fumez".
4 Given name appears written as "Jne", but might actually be a poorly formed
    "Jose".
11 Sixth letter of surname is poorly formed and is overwritten by extention of
a letter of the surname below making it difficult to decipher with
certainty, but is either "r" or is a letter with a tail such as "g", "y" or
"z". Surname is possibly "Pallera", "Pallega", "Palleya" or "Palleza".
13 Given name or title is written with an extreme flurish and impossible to
decipher with any certainty. First letter appears to possibly be an "M",
but the remaining letters are not readable. Perhaps, it is simply the title
    "Mr".
14 First three letters of given name appear to be "Som" followed by one or two
letters which are completely indecipherable. Name is possibly "Saml" for
    Samuel.
16 Surname appears to be "Gallott", "Gallolt", "Gallett" or "Gallelt".
18 Although written as "Samls", given name is likely "Saml" for Samuel.
Surname is either "Comerse" or "Converse".
19-20 Surname is written as both "DeVere" and "Devere", and might possibly be
    "de Vere".
21 Surname appears to be "Mapir", but might possibly be "Massir".
22 Given name appears to be either "Phato" or "Pluto".
24 Surname appears to be either "Child" or "Childs".
27 Last letter of surname is poorly formed and could be "g", "y", "z" or "o",
resulting in surname possibly being "Lazary", "Lazarg", "Lazarz" or even
    "Lazaro".
