Steamer Missouri
I, Geo W Palmer, Master of the Missouri, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect List of all the Passengers taken on board the said Steamer at Havana and Nassau, from which Ports the said vessel has now arrived; and that on said List is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said Passengers who have died on said Voyage, and the names and ages of those who died. Columns represent: surname and given name, age, sex, occupation, the country to which they severally belong, the country of which they intend to become inhabitants and part of the vessel occupied during the voyage. Since no one died during the voyage, this column is omitted in this transcription.

Transcriber's Notes:
A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be transcribed
definitely.
An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of
the manifest or something in the Transcriber's Notes to which the reader
should refer.
The transcriber numbered the passengers consecutively 1-14, even though they
are not numbered in the original manifest.
1 Surname is possibly "Gleeson" or "Gleesin".
3 Last letters of surname are not clearly formed and impossible to decipher
with certainty. Surname clearly begins with "Magl" followed by possibly
"orn", "ow" or "om", resulting in possible surname "Maglorn", "Maglow" or
"Maglom".
5 Last letters of surname are not clearly formed and impossible to decipher
with certainty. Surname clearly begins with "Man" followed by either
"orell" or "well", resulting in possible surname "Manorell", "Maxwell" or
"Manwell".
13 Surname is possibly "Buslay", "Busley", "Butlay" or "Butley".
14 Passenger's name is covered by an ink blot rendering it impossible to
decipher with certainty, but name clearly begins with "T", followed by
possibly "es", followed by "y", "ey" or "ej", followed by a clearly written
"illo". Surname is possibly "Tesyillo", "Teseyillo", "Tesejillo" or
something similar.
