I Salem Woodward do solemnly, sincerely and truly Swear that the following List or Manifest of Passengers subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of New-York, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Ship Isaac Hicks whereof I am Master, from Liverpool So help me God. Columns represent: "Names.; Age. (Years.; Months.); Sex.; Occupation.; The Country to which they severally belong.; The Country to which they intend to become inhabitants.; Died on the Voyage." Columns "[Age] Months" and "Died on the Voyage" are empty and have been omitted from this transcription.

The column "Country to which they severally belong" has only one entry "Great Britain" [with exception of passenger 11: United States] and the column has been omitted. Likewise, "Country to which they intend to become inhabitants" has "United States" at the top and ALL passengers are dittoed; therefore this column has also been omitted.

The use of a "?" indicates a word or letters that could not be read, due to
the quality of the original document.

The use of a caret "^" shows the following letter has been superscripted and
indicates missing letters in the word.

The signature attesting to the sworn statement is indecipherable; it is
followed by "DC" which may indicate the Deputy Collector of Customs

The passenger numbers were written following the names on the manifest, but
have been placed first by the transcriber for ease of reference.

ALL passengers are indicated as intending to become inhabitants of the
"United States"; all but #11 are indicated as belonging to "Great Britain"

  4  Family name may begin with Pu and end in either z or s. Due to hole in
     paper the remainder of the name is unreadable
 11  This person is indicated as belonging to the "United States"
 14  This person is shown as Mrs, but sex indicated is male
 17, 18  Title "Miss" has the "leading s"; it looks like Mifs
