SS Holland
I, A. Jeffrey, Master of the SS Holland, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of the City of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board the said vessel at London from which Port the said vessel has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the calling of each of said passengers, the location of the compartment or space occupied by each during the passage, the country of citizenship of each, the destination or location intended by each; and that the List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of passengers who have died on said voyage, and the dates, and cause of death, and the names and ages of those who died; also of the pieces of baggage of each; also a true statement, so far as it can be ascertained, with reference to the intention of each alien passenger, as to a projected sojourn in this country. So help me God. (signed) A. Jeffrey. Sworn to this June 26th 1884, before me. (signed) ????????.
List or Manifest of ALL THE PASSENGERS taken on board SS "Holland" whereof A. Jeffrey is Master, from London, burthen 2418 tons.
Columns represent: given name and surname, age, sex, calling, the country of which they are citizens, intended destination or location, and number of pieces of baggage. Since every passenger was berthed in Steerage and every passenger intended a Protracted Sojourn in the United States and no one died during the voyage, these three columns were omitted in this transcription.

Transcriber's Notes:
An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of the
manifest or something that the reader should note.
A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be transcribed
definitely.
The recorder of the manifest wrote a brace to include passengers traveling together
and entered a single number for their total number of pieces of baggage. The
transcribers have placed the number of pieces of baggage along side the first person
in the group.
4 Surname is not clearly written, but possibly is "Eptlicy", "Epblicy", "Epllicy"
or "Eftlicy".
5 Surname is possibly "Standards", "Staudards" or "Stawlards".
10 Given name is too faint to decipher. Age is entered as 9 1/2.
31 Surname is either "Caster" or "Coster".
