Transcriber's Notes:
* An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not the transcriber,
or is used to call your attention to additional information in the Transcriber's Notes below.
* The ? indicates letters or words that cannot be read due to the quality of the original document.
See transcriber's notes.
* Two separate manifests were provided. Names were in the same order on both, with none added or
deleted. Information that was different (spelling, ages, etc) is listed under passenger notes.
The largest difference was that the Remarks column was not used on the one, and the other had
baggage lists.
* A film cover page lists the date as 8 June 1836, but the original clearly says 8 July 1836.
* The Master's statement is found at the end of the manifest, but has been moved to the beginning
to conform with the ISTG format.
* In the sworn statement, the year has been as 18(blank). The year given for the ship is from
the original cover page.
* Occupation of Samester is unknown. Several women are listed as this, and it is clearly a
different word than Spinster.
* Occupation of Spinster is given to adult women; could be wives, widows, or sisters.
4 Second list shows her as Gubbin.
11 Age possibly 26 according to other list which is not clear on age.
13 Second list shows him as Michael.
17 Surname possibly Gilson on other list.
19 As this passenger is only 1 year old, I would assume the baggage should've
been for the passenger on the next line.
24 Surname probably Campbell like those before and after, but 'b' is missing.
34 Second list shows her as McGiligan.
38 Second list shows her as McGilligan.
42 Second list shows him as McGilligan.
43 Second list shows him as Michael.
46 Second list shows him possibly as Ezekiel Maret.
57 Second list shows her as Anne.
60 Second list shows him as Michael.
66 Second list shows her as Margaret.
67 Second list shows her as Gelloway.
68 Second list shows him as McGinley, McGinlay, or possibly McGunty.
75 Second list shows her as Mary Anne.
76- 77 Second list shows them both as Ellen.
85- 87 Second list shows surname as Gilleland.
92 Second list shows him as Paddy.
93 Second list also shows name as Brine, but could be Bruce also, or may have
meant Brian.
94 Second list shows him as Michael Kelley.
95 Second list shows age 22 clearly, but the first list is written over and
looks like 21 or 27.
98 Second list shows name as Quines. First list possibly says Juise or Quonse.
105 Second list shows her as Mary Anne.
111 Luggage possibly says '2 Ba'.
113 Second list shows her age as 19.
127 First list shows him as age 3/4.
128 Second list shows him as Labourer.
129 Second list shows her as Spinster.
130 Second list shows him as Mitchel Campbell.
137 Second list shows him as Rob^t Wilson.
140 Second list shows him as Alexander Mitchel.
147 Second list shows him as Paddy McDaid.
150 Second list shows him as Edward Sherry.
152 Second list shows him as Darby McAteir.
155 Second list shows him as John Dill. First list looks like Dilb, but believe
that could be a flourish at end of name.

166-167 Second list shows surname as Boak.
168 Second list shows name as Rosanna Foster.
