I, John McGowan, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, of Passengers, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector for the District of New York, contains to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Steamer Crescent City whereof I am Master from ????. So help me God. ( signed) John McGowan .

No one is listed as having died on the voyage, that column was eliminated.
The passenger numbers were added by the transcriber, they were not on the
original film.
Captain's name may be John M. Gowan

16  age looks like it was originally written as 28 and then written over 28.
