The use of a * indicates an omission or error made by the original recorder.
The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read, due to
quality of original document.
The passenger list was numbered as indicated above.
The original document had been folded and some of the names and other data
were lost due to wear at the creases.
The original passenger list included four columns for the passenger's age.
The columns were: Males over 12, Females over 12, Males under 13, and Females
under 13. In some cases the age was put in the wrong column.
The sex of passengers numbered 82, 83, 126, 127, 128, 129, 158, and 159 were
probably listed incorrectly.
43 Maria Homann was listed as 1/2 years old.
51 Aloys Schumm was listed as 1/2 years old.
173 Elisabeth Gunther was listed as 3/4 years old.
Contributor's Notes, 5 November 2003:
Carl Barhorst (passenger # 126) is the third great-grandfather of the
transcriber. The Surname was mis-spelled and their age and sex was wrong
on some of them. The correct information is shown below.
