Transcriber's Notes:
* = Special attention to 'Transcriber's Notes'
? = Approximate number of letters which are unreadable with any accuracy
^ = Indicates letters are omitted and the following letter is superscripted.
There were no deaths on this voyage
Wherever 'United States of America' was written on the manifest it was shortened to
'United States' for ease in reading.
Where a blank appears in the 'Occupation' column, it was recorded with a wavy line.
This possibly meant 'No occupation', since it was only in women, children or elderly.
2 - In Occupation 'Servant' is written under Hs Wfe. It is very poorly written.
9 - Age is possibly 39
11 - Age is possibly 39
20 - Name is possibly 'Ruttersby'.
23 & 24 - After 'Canada' was written 'Prov. of Quebec'
25 - United States was written in 'Country to be Inhabitants of'. This was crossed out
and 'Nova Scotia' was written in by a different handwriting.
26, 27 & 28 - United States was denoted by 'do' (ditto) marks from # 25 above. But these
were not crossed out. It seems likely United States is correct because #26 & 27
were from Scotland, # 28 was from Ireland while passenger # 25 was from Nova Scotia.
