Passenger #74: Eric Tommila
He worked his way across Canada and by 1901 (according to Canadian
Census records) had finally settled in Brandon, Manitoba. He sent
for his fiancée, who arrived in North America in 1903. They got
married in Brandon Manitoba, February 11, 1904. They had four sons,
one of whom was my grandfather - the father to my mother.
I would be greatly interested in the people he travelled to Canada
with - particularly if they have any information that goes back
into life they may have shared together while in Finland.
