I, John Morehouse, Master of the City of Antwerp, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect List of all the Passengers taken on board the said City of Antwerp at Liverpool, from which Port the said City of Antwerp has now arrived; and that on said List is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said Passengers who have died on said Voyage, and the names and ages of those who died. Columns represent: given name and surname, age, sex, occupation, the country to which they severally belong, and the part of the vessel occupied during the voyage. Since all the passengers intend to become inhabitants of the "United States", this column is omitted in this transcription. Passenger No. 144 is the only one to die during the voyage (the details are contained in the Transcriber's Notes below), and so this column too was omitted in the transcription.

Transcriber's Notes:
A question mark (?) indicates a letter or a number that can not be
transcribed definitely.
An asterisk (*) indicates either difficulty in deciphering the handwriting of
the manifest or something in the Transcriber Notes to which the reader should
refer.
The transcriber numbered the passengers consecutively even though they are
not numbered in the manifest.
The recorder of the manifest often abbreviates given names by writing the
first few letters of the name, then skipping letters and then writing the
final letter as superscripted. In these cases, the transcriber uses the
symbol (^) to indicate that the following letter is superscripted, e.g., E^d
or Edw^d for Edward, Tho^s for Thomas, M^l for Michael, Sam^l for Samuel, W^m
for William, etc. Othertimes, the recorder abbreviates names by writing the
first few letters, skipping letters and then adding the final letter of the
name, e.g., Brigt or Brgt for Bridget, Hy for Henry, Mgt or Margt for
Margaret, Jas for James, etc..
The recorder wrote the surnames of Irish passengers whose names usually
beginning with "Mac" as beginning instead with "Mc".
310 Surname is difficult to decipher because of ink bleeding through from the
opposite side
of the manifest obscures the letters, bur surname is possibly "Lonn" or
"Lann".
339 Although written as "Flenegan", surname might actually be "Flanagan".
342 Although written as "Clarey", surname might actually be "Clary", "Clery"
or "Cleary".
346 Although written as "Mayee", surname might actually be "Magee" or "Mayce".
356 First letter of surname is not clearly formed and could be "F", "L" or
"S" followed by "oohey" or "ovhey". Surname is therefore possibly
"Foohey", "Foohy", "Fuohy", "Fovhey" "Loohey", "Loohy", "Lovhey",
"Soohey", "Soohy" or "Sovhey".
359 Although written as "Bever", surname might be "Bevan".
360 Surname is written as "Brien", but might be "O'Brien".
