Ship Algonquin


Liverpool, England to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
7 June 1836

I, Henry F. Mieceker do solemnly, sincerely, and truly Swear that the Report or Manifest subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the District of Philadelphia, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the passengers which were on board the Ship Algonquin at the time of her sailing from the port of Liverpool or which have been taken on board at any time since; that I am at present and have been during the voyage, master of the said vessel. And I do likewise Swear that all matters whatsoever in the said Report or Manifest, are to the best of my knowledge and belief, just and true. So help me God.
Sworn before me, this 7th day of June 1836
Report or Manifest of all the Passengers taken on board the Ship Algonquin whereof H. F. Mieceker is Master, from Liverpool Burthen 482 38/95 Tons, and owned by H&A Cope Co. of Philadelphia and bound to Philadelphia.
Columns represent: Name, Age, Sex, Occupation*, To What Country belonging*, Country of which it is their intention to become Inhabitants*, Number and Names of Passengers who have died on the voyage is eliminated as no one died.

 9, 13-18: First letter of surname is either an ‘H’ or ‘K’.
 19:       ? looks like an ‘l’.
 38:       Surname is fairly illegible but may be Gres??angh or ough.
 39-45:    Surname is fairly illegible but may be Griarsan.
 52:       Surname is fairly illegible but may be Dasm? Or Dasw?.
 54-55:    Surname is too faint to read missing letters.
