Transcriber's Notes: * An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not the transcriber, or is used to call your attention to additional information in the transcriber's notes or in the passenger's informational paragraph. ? Indicates a letter or number which could not be determined due to the condition of the manifest or handwriting of the original recorder. ^ Indicates the word may be abbreviated and/or that superscript was used for the subsequent letter or letters. * The following information was on the cover page of the manifest, and may have been completed by the Immigration Officer: US Exemptions Total Aliens Total S.?. Transit and Subject Passengers Insular To Tax 1st Cabin 116 116 68 184 - 31 2nd Cabin 61 61 224 285 13 11 Steerage Aliens U.S. Total 1st Cabin 68 116 184 2nd Cabin 224 61 285 Steerage Total 292 * Each page of the original manifest was numbered from 1 to 30, but sometimes there were only a few passengers on one page. The transcriber has renumbered the passengers consecutively, placing 30 passengers per transcribed page whenever possible. * The date of arrival in New York appears to have been written as "6 December 1910", then the "6" was overwritten by "7". * The Physician's surname was written Ludeke, with Luedeke being an alternative spelling. * Munster was written with the umlaut u, the university the Physician attended. * The original recorder only completed the following columns for United States Citizens except as noted in each passenger's paragraph: Name; Age; Sex; Marital status; Occupation; Nationality, Race or People, and Last Permanent Residence State (all were listed as United States Citizen, or abbreviated U.S.C.); Final Destination; Whether having ticket for final destination. * Some passengers were listed as U.S.B. by the original recorder. The transcriber believes this to mean United States Born. * The original recorder's handwriting is very difficult to decipher. The following letters look identical, or almost identical, in most instances: a, e, i, o, s; z, j, g, y; m, n, u, v; G, J, I, S, T; M, N, V, A * For pictures, newspaper articles, etc., on this voyage please go to Page 1 at the bottom of this page.
