I, Samuel Hasker, certify that the within manifest was this day presented to me as the original manifest of the cargo on board the Barque Wenham of Baltimore, John Wiley master from London.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand this 4th day of June 1847.

I, John Wyle, master of Barque Wenham of Baltimore from London, do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that I have deposited in the post office at this port all letters directed to any person or persons within the United States (excepting such as are directed to the owner or consignee the vessel,) which are brought in the said Barque under my care or ???????. I, John Wyle, do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the report and manifest subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the district of New York, contains to best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the goods, wares and merchandise including packages of every kind and nature whatsoever, which were on board the said Barque at the time of her sailing from the port of London or which have been laden or taken on board at any port since, and that the packages of said goods are as particularly described in the bills of lading signed for the same by me, or with my knowledge; that I am at present master of said vessel, that no packages whatsoever or any goods, wares, or merchandise have been unladen, landed, taken out, or in any manner whatever removed from on board the said Barque since her departure from the said port of London except such as now particularly specified and declared in the abstract or account, herewith, and that the clearance and other papers now delivered by me to the collector, are all that I now have, or have had, that in any way relate to the cargo of said vessel. And I further swear that the several articles specified in the said manifest as the sea stores for the cabin and vessel, are truly such and were bona fide put on board the said Barque for the ... and are intended to remain on board for the consumption of the said officers and crew. I further swear that if I shall hereafter discover or know of any other or greater quantity of goods, wares and merchandise of any nature or kind whatsoever, than are contained in the report and manifest expressed, are to the best knowledge and belief, on board of the Barque Wenham any goods or merchandise, the importation of which into the United States or territories thereof, is prohibited by law; And I do further swear that if I shall hereafter discover or know of any such goods, wares or merchandise, on board the siad vessel, or which shall have ... of the port of this district.

Ditmor of Balt in the state of MD master, owner of the ship or vessel called the Wenham of Balt do swear that according to the best of my knowledge and belief, the register of Said ship now produced to the said collector of the customs for the district of Baltimore, contains the names of all the persons who are owners thereof and that no foreign subject or citizen has to best of my knowledge and belief any share by way of trust, confidence or otherwise in the said ship or vessel SO HELP ME GOD. James and Amelai Cooke are my great-great grandparents. They settled in
New York City, and had two more sons: Thomas Reginald Cooke, and
Joclyn William James O'Neale Cooke. I am related through Thomas Reginald Cooke.
As of this date, August 14, 2003, I have located and have contacts for all
nine children of Thomas Reginal Cooke, and am working hard at locating the
