DISTRICT OF BOSTON AND CHARLESTOWN - PORT OF BOSTON
I, John Simmons Master of the Brig. Victoria do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Port of Boston, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board the said vessel at Mayacuez from which port said vessel has now arrived; and that on said list is a truly designated the age, sex, calling, country of citizenship, native country, intended destination or location, number of pieces of baggage, location of compartment or space occupied, and date and cause of death of passengers, as required by the "Passenger Act of 1882"; also a true statement, so far it can be ascertained, with reference to the intention of each alien passenger as to a protracted sojourn in this county. List or Manifest of all the Passengers taken on board the Brig. Victoria whereof John Simmon is Master, from Mayacuez * burthen 143 tons.
Columns represent: Name, age, sex, calling, the country of which they are citizens, native country, intended destination or location, no of pieces of baggage*, location of compartment or space occupied (specify whether forward, amidships, or aft), date and cause of death*, whether visitor only, or intending to be permanent settler.

*  Mayacuez is written on the manifest but this ship is surely from Mayaguez.
 
*  There was no listing of baggage or deaths so these columns have been left
   out.

*  The Captian has written "1 male cabin immigrant Porto Rico Immirgantds not in
   the US befoe 1 = 50 cents".
