I, J.C.Wienholtz do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest of Passengers, subscribed with my name, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs for the District of New York, contains, to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account of all the Passengers received on board the Hambg. Bark Sir Isaac Newton whereof I am Master, from Hamburg. So help me God (signed) J.C.Wienholtz

Personal Notes:
Passengers #112,113,114,115,116,117,118 are ancestors of the Transcriber's wife, Ruth Haseley Grose. Johann David's mother and five brothers emigrated aboard this same ship, Sir Isaac Newton, in 1843
(transcribed in Vol. 4). Johann David was not issued an exit permit by the Prussian government in 1843 because he had not completed his military obligation. The family now joined their extended family in 1847 in Niagara County, New York where they operated dairy farms.
