Born 10 April 1821 in Hellsau, Koppigen, Bern, Switzerland. 
Settled in Lattisburg, Chester Township, Wayne County, Ohio. 
Died in Ohio about 1888.
 
Children (Nos. 45 & 46): Jacob born 03 May 1843 in Switzerland. 
Died 1932 in Indiana.
                                 
Johannes (John) Beck born 15 May 1857 in Switzerland. 
Died 1914 in Indiana.

Verena (Fanny) Beck is my 2nd great-grand Aunt and the boys, Jacob and John, 
are my 1st cousins 3 times removed.
