Transcriber's Notes:
* An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not
the transcriber, or is used to call your attention to additional information
in the transcriber's notes.
? Indicates a letter or number which could not be determined due to the
condition of the manifest or handwriting of the original recorder.
No passenger died during the voyage so that column was omitted in this transcription.
The column headed "Country in which they intend to become inhabitants" had no entries.
It is possible that the recorder meant to imply that all passengers intended to reside
in the United States or, on the other hand, perhaps the correct information was never
recorded.
3 and 4 - Second letter of surname is undecipherable; a guess is that it is a poorly
written "a". Third and fourth letters appear to be either shortened double
"l" or lengthened double "s". Surname is possibly "Vallois".
4 and 6 - It was the habit of the one who recorded the manifest to leave the "occupation"
column blank for female passengers. However, in the case of passengers #4 and #6
their occupation is clearly marked with ditto marks implying "Merchant".
6 - Occupation clearly contains ditto marks implying "Merchant".
9 - Sixth letter of surname appears to be a poorly written "a". Seventh and eighth
letters might be "s" and "e", or perhaps simply a poorly written "u".
Surname is possibly "Leteraselior" or "Leteraulior".
11 - Fifth and sixth letters of surname are possibly but not certainly "a" and "s".
Surname is possibly "Collas".
