Transcriber's Notes:
Occupations are written on the original exactly as I have written it here.
Passenger #42 started a new page and therefore the occupations were again
listed as servant & laborers. There were no "ditto"s under Scotland but it
can be assumed all were from Scotland going to America except for the first
entry, the surgeon of the ship, as he was returning to Scotland.
# 2 - could be Carilin
#34 - could be Mustough
#41 - there is no apostrophe next to the O but I think this is probably
      O'Hare or O'Heare
#44 - there is no apostrophe next to the O but I think this is probably
      O'Brien
#59 - could be Madson but does not look like any other "s" on the manifest
#67 & 68 - could be Cregan
#69 - could be Patts
#71 - could be Seachy, Searhy, Seacky
#76 - could be Came, Cane

Ancestor of contributor passenger #80 Cahoe/Cahooe
Although this manifest has no date on it, it is believed to be from 1862
because Michael Cahooe is listed as 18. His marriage license of 1882
lists him as 38. See marriage license
