Transcriber's Notes:

As asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not the
transcriber, or is used to call your attention to additional information in
the transcriber's notes.

A ? mark indicates letter(s) or words that cannot be read due to the quality
of the original document. The original recorder had very cursive handwriting,
with some letters on one line written over letters on the line below.

The country of origin was misspelled; country of origin was Jamaica.

Individuals who do not have Occupations were listed this way on the original
passenger list.

No passengers died on this ship.

This form is not the Manifest itself but rather a form used by the Port of
New Orleans.

1-2 The country in which they intend to become Inhabitants was listed as
Jamacia (sic) for the first two passengers. This column was left blank for
    the rest of the passengers.
4-5 Unable to clearly read name. Missing letter could be l or k.

National Archives and Records Administration, Film M272, Reel 13, 4th quarter.
