Transcriber's Notes:

The use of an * indicates an omission or error made by the original recorder, or is used
to call your attention to additional information in the Transcriber's Notes below.

The use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read, due to the quality of
the original document.

There was no sworn statement on this document.

According to where this manifest is located on the microfilm, the arrival date should be
between June 2nd and 5th, 1874. However, no actual date is given, just "2nd quarter".

Sex was indicated on the document by a check mark in the appropriate column. This has
been changed to "Male" or "Female" for clarity.

Destination was given only for the first passenger, but may be assumed to be the same for all.

Part of vessel occupied was given only for two passengers. It may be assumed that the first
six passengers were cabin passengers, and the others steerage, although no ditto marks were
visible.

1 - M. A. Anwright. United States was written as Unitd States.
National Archives and Records Administration, Film M272, Reel 17, 2nd quarter.
