Correspondence added 8-16-2005 I have found the name of Barbara Kranz in this list. In my first husband's info I have this. Barbara ? married a man named ? Kranz. She was a orphan raised in a convent in Baden. Born Sept. 8 1825 in Baden, Germany. She & husband sailed to the US with an infant daughter in 1844. Her husband was lost at sea. (may have been robbed & thrown overboard). A few years later she married Jacob Roth & had children. One (Emma Roth) was my husbands G/mother. Barbara shows being 18 at the time of sailing which ties in with my dates. Her name is #145 in your list. I wonder if there is a connection? Lola Speratos
