This voyage departed from Rio de Janeiro on 14 Nov 1877. The American listed in the Jornal de Comércio the following day encompass No #2 only from your list. Ignoring obvious typographical errors (as might be expected in a Portuguese-language newspaper probably working from handwritten passenger lists), just a couple of observations: #2 Robert Shannon It seems that the other passenger omitted in error, since Robert Shannon and James A Tilford arrived at Rio de Janeiro together on 3 Nov 1877 from New York on CHITTAGONG.
