Transcriber's Notes:
An asterisk (*) after the passenger number indicates that more information is available
below in these Transcriber Notes.
A question mark (?) indicates an unreadable letter or word for the reason stated.
A caret (^) indicates that the letter immediately following it has been raised
above the line in an abbreviation.
The original recorder started his numbering over again for the Cabin Passengers,
but this transcriber continued the numbering sequence to avoid confusion herein.
All are going to the United States so this column has been eliminated
No one is listed as died on the voyage so this column has been eliminated
The original recorder very frequently used brackets ({) between family members
probably to save writing time by repeating information, this however resulted in an
individual being called children, and many blank spaces. Children was changed to child by
the reviewers.
US/ followed by European place indicates passenger is citizen of the US.
Significance of European place not indicated. However, column headings
have been adjusted on contemporary lists to read "place of starting."
