Transcriber's Notes:
Use of an * indicates an omission or error made by the original recorder, or a
note made by transcriber.
Use of a ? indicates a word or letters that could not be read, due to quality of
original document.
Use of a ^ indicates the letter(s) follow are superscript.
Column 'Country to which they severally belong' is smeared or dark for the most
part. Letters are given as can be read.
Passenger Notes:
3 Start of surname unclear, could also be Wardeun, or Ulardeun.
8- 12 County to which they belong is black. Area is narrow, so possibly 'do'
(ditto) to county of passenger #7.
13 Country to which he belongs is black. Start of first letter appears to
be base of T or F.
15 Surname is smeared, but from parts visible it is consistent with the
name Seitz following it. Age is faint, but appears to be 33 from the
curves at the bottom on the numbers.
19 Age recorded as 2 1/2. Changed by formatter for consistency to 2y 6mo.
31- 38 Surname not clear, could be Hanselmann.
32- 33 The two first names are bracketed with the surname being written once
for the two. The rest of the people with the same surname have the
surname individually written out.
62 First name is clearly Gebhard, sex is clearly written female.
74 Appears to be a 'dl' written in the "died on voyage" column.
80 Age is unclear. 11 months, or possibly 18 months with very thin '8'.
83 Age recorded as 2 1/2. Changed by formatter for consistency to 2y 6mo.
104 Surname Ran or Rau.
113 Age recorded as 3 1/2. Changed by formatter for consistency to 3y 6mo.
119 Age recorded as 2 1/2. Changed by formatter for consistency to 2y 6mo.
134 Age was originally written '6', but '7' has been heavily written over
in same handwriting.
136 Age recorded as 2 1/2. Changed by formatter for consistency to 2y 6mo.
139-147 Surname possibly Elsfaeper.
154 Age recorded as 4 1/2. Changed by formatter for consistency to 4y 6mo.
157 Age recorded as 12 1/2. Changed by formatter for consistency to 12y 6mo.
159 Age recorded as 3 1/2. Changed by formatter for consistency to 3y 6mo.
161-166 Surname possibly Ehringer.
