A question mark indicates material that was indecipherable; an asterisk indicates 
further information in the Passenger Notes; a caret (^) indicates superscript text.

The first nine names are very faded and difficult to decipher.  The passenger notes
indicate possible solutions.

4          Surname may be Zachlinski or Jachlinski.
6-8        Surname looks like it may be Runing.
19         Name seems to be Sohnrei, but there may be one or more letters at the end
           or the final letter is an "l" making the name Sohnrel.
20         Name may be Branlein.
31-38      Surname may have an umlauted "o" making it Poetzch.
39         Surname may be Meyer.
40         Surname has an umlauted "u" so may be Mueller.
