Transcriber's Notes:
1. The copy of the manifest had several vertical lines (from the copier) that
made accurate determination of surnames difficult.
2. Occupations were abbreviated, probably Merch. for merchant, Mech. for
mechanic, Labr. for laborer, Serv. for servant. Whoever prepared the
manifest occasionally ran a wavey line down under some of these to indicate
repeating the occupation, but its use was unclear, inconsistent and did not
make sense. Most had nothing.
3. In Country of Orgin, the vertical wiggly line under a country appeared to be
carefully applied, so I repeated the country indicated.
