From the List of Passengers arrived from Foreign Ports in the Port of New Orleans during the fourth Quarter of 1857.
There is no Captain's statement with this manifest.
List or Manifest of all the Passengers taken on board the Baden whereof Stilphen, is master, from Liverpool. The date of Arrival is Oct. 24, 1857.

Passenger Notes:

7 - Surname maybe Cadie
8 & 9 - First letter of surname is questionable
15, 22, 24, & 28 - Given name looks like it might be Mr.
20 - given name is unclear the first 2 letters are An, but the 3rd and last letter
     is unclear.  
34 thru 37 - first letter of Surname is unclear, maybe "Z".

Correspondence 02/25/2003 passengers #1-5 Sinclair
You have helped me to fill in a bit of the Sinclair family history.  
It would appear that Mrs. Margaret Sinclair took her children (all born 
in New Orleans)  overseas to visit her family, who were all from the 
little Isle of Islay in the Scottish Hebrides.  She originally emigrated 
before 1840.  If anyone is researching this family, please contact:
