Al Lindsay married Kathleen Lee on 07 Feb 1941 and they had three sons. Ronald was born 28 Nov 1943, David born 29 Apr 1947, and Richard born 30 Nov 1955. (Marjory Jean) Noble, 10 years old and Grandmother, Mrs. J.A. (Jessie Ann) Noble. My Grandfather, Steven Noble, came to the United States the year before to work with his brother-in-law, John Crawford. They both worked as Engineers for Henry Ford and the Ford Motor Car Company in Dearborn, Michigan. The Nobles lived in Detroit. Nancy Mitchell Correspondence 05/11/2005 passengers #174-178 Kirkland My grandparents (Kirkland) travelled to the US with my mother and two aunts as passengers 174 through 178. They may have travelled with passenger Mr G Rice passenger 311 although I'm not sure. My grandmother's maiden name was Rice and G. Rice was also from Motherwell. My familly went immediately to Detroit where they stayed only a few montsh - no more than a year. They returned to Motherwell in Scotland because they did not like America. If you find an ancestor on a ship on ISTG and would like to link to your email address or home page, please submit a short paragraph about the passenger, where settled, children, etc., with the name of the ship and date of arrival, and send to the transcriber at the bottom of the manifest or to the ISTG Production Coordinator. Be sure to include the name of the SHIP and VOLUME number.
