My parents Ruth (1912-1990) and Norman (1900-1982) Stiefel settled in Kansas City. She and her family were from Duisburg, Hamm an der Sieg und Altenkirchen; he and his family were from Giessen, Birklar und Lich. His mother Bertha Stiefel and sister Minna Stiefel were also passengers. They settled in NYC.
