DISTRICT OF BOSTON AND CHARLESTOWN - PORT OF BOSTON
I, William Coluill Frr of the SS Virginian do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Port of Boston, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board the said vessel at Liverpool Eng., from which port said vessel has now arrived; and that on said list truly designated the age, sex, calling, country of citizenship, native country, intended destination or location, number of pieces of baggage, location of compartment or space occupied, and date and cause of death of passengers, as required by the "Passenger Act of 1882"; also a true statement, so far as it can be ascertained, with reference to the intention of each alien passenger as to a protracted sojourn in this country. So Help me God. Signed WCFrr. Master.

List or Manifest OF ALL THE PASSENGERS taken on board the Virginian SS whereof William Coluill Frr is Master, from Liverpool Eng. burthen 5600 tons.
Columns represent: Names, Age, Sex, Calling, The country of which they are citizens, Native Country, Intended Destination or Location, No of pieces of baggage, Location of compartment or space occupied (Specify whether forward, amidships, or aft.), Date and cause of Death, Whether visiting or intending to be permanent settlers.

*  An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original 
   recorder, not the transcriber, or is used to call your attention
   to additional information in the transcriber's notes.

?  Indicates a letter or number which could not be determined due
   to the condition of the manifest or handwriting of the original
   recorder.
       
*  In the Left corner of the manifest it says Custom Form 
   Passenger List "Passenger Act, 1882.  In the Right corner
   it says Sold by Aaron R. Gay & Co. Stationers.  
   122 State St. Boston.

*  The following columns were eliminated, Intended Destination,
   No. of Pieces of baggage, and Whether visitor or permanent
   address as there was nothing listed in them.

*  Behind the first passengers name it is written SWD byWde

*  Above the start of the list of passengers it is written
   Stowaways and underlined.

*  This is written at the bottom of the Manifest, 4 males 
   steerage Immigrants England.

Passenger #3 - The second letter in this name could be just the 
      swing of the y or it could be an i as it is really hard
      to tell.
