Montevideo* to Baltimore, Maryland

DISTRICT OF BALTIMORE - PORT OF BALTIMORE
I, H. ?. Willis, Master of the Brig Sultana of Baltimore, do solemnly, sincerely, and truly swear, that the within List, subscribed with my name, contains to the best of my knowledge and belief, a just and true account or report of all passengers which have been taken on board the said Brig at Montevideo or any other foreign Port or at Sea and brought in the said vessel into any District of the United States since her departure from the said Port of Montevideo. Sworn to (day not filled in) June 1834 (signed) H. ?. Willis. Before me, (not filled in), Collector.
List of all the Passengers taken on board the Brig Sultana of Baltimore, 13 June 1834, from Montevideo.
Columns represent: name, age, sex, country to which they belong, country which they intend to inhabit.

(Unsigned but seems to be the handwriting of the Mayor, Jesse Hunt.)
    
Transcriber's Notes:     
This was a City List. 

The country this ship sailed from was not recorded.  There are a number 
of towns named Montevideo, and the one in Uruguay is a possibility.  But 
there is a Montevideo in Maryland, which seems to be on a river.  Perhaps 
it was a very short voyage up to Baltimore from there.  There is also a 
Montevideo on a river in Virginia, and that is also a possibility.

Passenger Notes:
  #1 her age could be 50 or 30.
  #3 first name probably Carlos, but the s seems to have an extra tail 
     on it.  Looks more like an n.
