Brig Sarah M. Newhall
I, E. Payson, Master of Brig^t Sarah M. Newhall do solemnly, sincerely, and truly declare that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect List of all the Passengers taken on board of the said Brig^t Sarah M. Newhall at Savanella from which port the said S.M. Newhall has now arrived; and that on said List is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant; and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said Passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.

Columns represent: Name, Age, Occupation, The country to which they severally belong, The country in which they intend to become inhabitants, Died on the voyage, Part of the vessel occupied by each passenger during the voyage.

Transcriber's Notes:
The "t" at the end of Brig^t was raised.
"None" was written in the "Died on the voyage" Column.
In the column "The country in which they intend to become inhabitants",
nothing was written.
At the top lefthand corner of the Manifest is a picture of some ships and
underneath is written: Baker & Godwin, Printers, No. 1 Spruce St., N.Y.
At the top righthand corner of the Manifest is a picture of a "shield"
and inside of it is written: R.J. Godwin, Custom House Broker and Notary
Public, No. 18 Pine St., New York.
* Barequella as written on the manifest should probably be
Barranquilla, Columbia.
