Transcriber's Notes:
An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not the
transcriber or is used to call your attention to additional information in the
Transcriber's Notes below.
The ? marks indicates letters or words that cannot be read due to the quality
of the original document.
Departure city is spelled as noted in sworn statement, although clearly misspelled.
Collector's name could also be D. Dally.
50+ is probably 50 cents.
Passenger Notes:
#1 Surname unclear due to copy quality; could also be Edgenut or Edgecourt.
Fourth letter is small, same size as the e. See Passenger #2; possibly
intended as same name, but definitely written different. Calling could be
seaman but last 3 letters unclear. Perm probably short for permanent.
Notations after Cabin entry are YHla, Y?Ldo. Very difficult to read and
unsure what they mean.
#2 Surname appears as written, although see Passenger #1 for other possible
names. Sex column written as noted; unable to decipher last letter due
to copy quality.
#3 Sex column written as noted; unable to decipher last letter due to copy
quality.
#4 Visitor misspelled as Visiter.
