Ship Resolute
I, Thomas W Freeman, Master of the Am Ship Resolute, do solemnly, sincerely and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subscribed by me, and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District of New York, is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said ship at sea from which port said ship has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of of each of said passengers, the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs, and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant, and that said List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage, and the names and ages of those who died.

Transcriber's Notes:
An * indicates an error on the part of the original recorder, not the transciber,
or is used to call your attention to additional information in the Transcriber's
Notes.
The ? indicates letters or words that cannot be read due to the quality of the
original document.
Death columns were not on the copy I received for transcription, however there
is a note at the end of the manifest that reads "Deaths 0".
Manifest gives age in fractions, ie. 3/4 or 11/12. For consistence, these have
been changed to months, ie. 9mo, 11mo.
Incomplete manifest, not completely photocopied. The end of the manifest lists
"171 France, 3 Bavarian", total 174. The copy of the manifest I have, however,
only shows 164 (original is unnumbered). There are several places where names
could be missing. These include after passengers 39, 64, 91, 117, and 143.
Passenger Notes:
* 17 First name has been written over, but appears to have been to correct
spelling of Lorenz.
* 21 Infant has no one by same surname on ship.
* 22 Surname possibly Guttirle.
* 52- 54 Surname possibly Schafer.
* 67- 70 Assume Wingheimer, but they are on new page and without photocopy
overlap I cannot be positive. Surname is shown with ditto marks.
* 73 Although sex is listed as female, Francois is usually a male name.
* 89 Surname has umalut; possibly Wildman.
*109-110 Surname could be Kohus, the last two letters were overwritten and
hard to read.
* 119 Names cut off of copy; can only guess at a few letters.
* 120 Writing appears clear; assume writer left out a vowel.
* 121 Writing appears clear; assume writer left out a vowel.
*122-123 Surname possibly Bruner, but last letter is pointed and dotted.
* 130 First name possibly Agoshiw.
