Transcriber's notes:
* An asterisk indicates an error on the part of the original
recorder, not the transcriber, or is used to call your attention
to additional information in the transcriber's notes.
* The manifest has a header as follows: JOHN D. GEORGE,
Ship and Insurance Broker, No. 121 South Second street,
opposite the Custom-House, Philadelphia
* The column Country of which it is their intention to
become Inhabitants has been omitted, since all passengers
indicated that they were immigrating to United States.
* The column Number and Names of Passengers who have died
on the Voyage has been omitted, since there were no
entries in this column.
* No punctuation is used with abbreviations.
* The manifest was not signed by the master.
* Twenty-four names, numbers 27 through 68, are repeated.
The final line of the manifest indicates (inaccurately)
that there were 120 passengers on board.
Passenger # 5 - Age originally given as 20, which was crossed
out and 4 written in.
Passenger #14 Entry for Mrs Brass has been squeezed in between
two entries, in smaller script.
Passenger #21 and 27 - Name could possible be Kruse instead
of Kreise.
Passenger #27 - Given name is clearly Eliza, but person is
listed as male.
Passenger #29 - Entry for child is squeezed in between two
entries, in smaller script.
Passenger #41 - Given name is clearly Elizabeth, but person
is listed as male.
Passenger #63 - In age column, the word Baby is superimposed
on the number 22.
Passenger #81 - Initial could be a very sloppy J or I; it
looks like no other letter on the manifest, and actually
looks like a sloppy heart.
Passenger #83 - Weisentheid was written in the Occupation
column, then crossed out and Farmer written in.
