LIST OR MANIFEST OF ALIEN IMMIGRANTS FOR THE COMMISSIONER OF IMMIGRATION.
Required by the regulations of the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States, under Act of Congress, approved March 3, 1893, to be delivered to the Commissioner of Immigration by the Commanding Officer of any vessel having such passengers on board upon arrival at a port in the United States.
S.S. Oceanic, sailing from Hong Kong Oct 30th, 1894 arriving at Port of San Francisco, Nov 27, 1894.
Columns represent: Number, Name, Age, Married or Single*, Occupation, Nationality, Last Residence, Final Destination in the US, Whether in Possession of Money-if less than $30, how much?, Whether going to join Relative or Friend

There is no captain's statement nor captain's name attached to this manifest.
The following columns had identical entries for all passengers and so were 
not included in the table:

 Able to Read & Write=yes 
 Seaport for Landing in the US=San Francisco  
 Whether having a ticket to final destination=yes for those going to San 
  Francisco, no for others 
 By whom was passage paid?=self 
 Whether ever before in the US=No 
 Whether ever in Prison, Almshouse or supported by Charity=no
 Whether a Polygamist=no
 Whether under contract to labor in the US=no
 Condition of Health Mental and Physical=good
 Whether having any deformities=no 
Letters that are illegible or difficult to interpret are replaced by ?.
In the Married or Single column for passengers from Yokohama or Single has 
 been crossed out.  The transcriber has replaced Married with yes for 
 passenger #1.

Passenger Notes:
#1  First name is Turug or Turuy.  The name is written Turu? Hyeein Abdullah 
    Joseph, in that order, on the page.  Other names appear to be written 
    surname last, but they are on a different page.  He is going to join 
    "Son Ja Fredrick San Fran."
#4 & #5 are going to Victoria B.C.
#4  surname is Healer or Heater.
