SS Neptune
I, Johann Heinrich Zincke, Master of the N.G. Ship, "Neptune," do solemnly, and truly swear that the following List or Manifest, subsribed by me,and now delivered by me to the Collector of the Customs of the Collection District ?????????? is a full and perfect list of all the passengers taken on board of the said ship "Neptune" at Bremerhaven from which port said ship has now arrived; and that on said list is truly designated the age, the sex, and the occupation of each of the passengers and the part of the vessel occupied by each during the passage, the country to which each belongs and also the country of which it is intended by each to become an inhabitant. List or Manifest truly sets forth the number of said passengers who have died on said voyage,and the names and age of those who died.

My previous message to you reflected finding a family member, "Carl Trettin: Passenger #23
on the SS Baltimore from Bremen to Baltimore on July 18, 1868. I now found "Carl's brother
and his family also who traveled on the SS Neptune from Bremerhaven to Baltimore on
8 June 1868, as Passengers #238 through 243. They relocated to southern part of Wisconsin
whereas my previous message family members started in Pennsylvania and relocated to
northern Illinois in Whiteside County. Herb Steltzer in New Jersey
